Please ensure you are applying for the correct year. You should apply for Year 10 the September you begin Year 9 in your current school. You should apply for Year 12 the September you begin Year 11 in your current school. Please note if you are already in Year 10 in your current school you are unable to repeat Year 10 at The BRIT School. Your next opportunity to apply will be for Year 12. You should submit your application the September you begin Year 11 at your current school.
You are able to save the application form and return to it at a later date. If, after you submit an application form you wish to change any of the information, you will need to contact student services and request we delete your form (you will then need to start the application process again) or student services can make the changes required.

Details of Special Educational Needs

Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
If you have an Educational Health Care Plan please give details here. Will require a copy of the plan along with a copy of the latest review. You will be given an opportunity to attach this in the Education section on the application form, alternatively, you can email this to studentservices@brit.croydon.sch.uk

Monitoring information
As with all other information on the application form, the detail you provide here is held in the strictest confidence and is intended to ensure that we are meeting the needs of, and attracting applications from, all sections of the community. Of particular importance is the question on eligibility for Free School Meals, as successful eligible applicants will be entitled to continue to receive this and we need to be able to plan our provision for this in advance.
Eligibility
We regret we are unable to accept applications for Post 16 studies from students residing in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
We are unable to accept applications for Ks4 and Post 16 Studies from students outside the EEA. Those within the EEA will only proceed with evidence. The evidence required is a residence permit or the confirmation letter from The Home Office for EU Settlement status. We are unable to accept a Student Visa (formally a Tier 4 Visa).
Reference
We will apply for a reference from your current school at the point of application. If you are unsuccessful in the process we will remove this from our systems.
Consent
Consent will only be applied if you are offered and accept a place at The BRIT School. Please leave blank the tick boxes for any criteria you do NOT give consent to.
Declaration
The declaration is required from both applicant and parent.
Attachments - Reports
If applying for Year 10 you should upload a copy of your Year 8 report, this should contain attendance
If applying for Year 12 you should upload a copy of your Year 10 report, this should contain attendance
If applying to repeat Year 12 you should upload a copy of your Year 11 report, this should contain attendance. Any non-UK/EEA residents should supply a translated report, which must contain attendance.
If you are home-schooled you should attach a document in the relevant area confirming this.
You application is considered incomplete without this information and may not proceed to the next stage.

The address supplied in this section should be the address the applicant is living at the time of application and not where they will be living should they be offered a place.
What happens next?
We will confirm receipt of the completed application form by email – All communication regarding your application form can be found on your personal Applicaa account which you will have to create before you can begin to complete the application form. meetings and workshops will take place between December 2023 and April 2024. Key Stage 4 meetings will take place in March 2024. Please bear these dates in mind when booking holidays as we are unable to change the date offered in any communication you may receive.
