About Jodie
Jodie graduated from Bird College with Distinction and won the Dancing Times Choreography Award. She enjoyed a diverse performing career across many genres, appearing in commissioned work for Dance Umbrella and travelling worldwide on luxury cruise liners, as well as many pantomime and summer seasons both in the UK and Europe.
At the Brit School Jodie teaches a range of dance techniques also writing, choreographing and directing performance work. She has a breadth of knowledge and experience including technical advancement, artistic development, multi arts events, developing and nurturing Industry links. Alongside BRIT School she has a portfolio of freelance engagements teaching and mentoring under the banner of the ISTD and choreographs for various corporate events, flash mobs and pantomimes. Jodie is also an Adjudicator for All England Dance and the British and International Federation of Festivals.

ISTD ADVANCED 1 Modern
Once you have successfully passed ISTD Intermediate Modern you can move through the Advanced 1 Syllabus. This work has links to Horton Technique among others and creates a strong technically focused dancer. There are a variety of exercises that require a range of skills and artistic expression. The aim of this class is to work towards the examination of some beautifully crafted work. You will have the opportunity to create your own performance solo for the exam and show off the full range of your theatricality.
ISTD ADVANCED 2 Modern
Once you have successfully passed ISTD Advanced 1 Modern you can move through the Advanced 2 Syllabus.
