BRIT School Parents raise £5000 for new signage through Funky Friday Fund Raiser
On the last day of term in February, BRIT Parents got their Funk on for The BRIT School as over 100 parents and carers came down to boogie at the Funky Friday Fundraiser. The event was held in celebration of our fantastic benefactor Nile Rogers and featured entertainment from school students and staff. There was a performance by Jenson Steele as Tiana Biscuit and much dancing.
With generous match funding secured from Santander through one of our parent volunteers and the fantastic £3000 raised at The Funky Friday Fund Raiser, the BRIT Parents Committee were delighted to be able to make a substantial donation of £5000 to the School which will pay for new signage to be installed across the site bringing a new aesthetic of way finding around the School. The £5,000 donation is the largest yet made by The BRIT Parents Committee and will deliver something of real benefit to students, parents and visitors alike, optimising their experience of The BRIT School.
