About Mark
Mark trained at MI London in 1996 under the tutelage of Thomas Lang.
Mark is the founder of the Drumnosis drum school currently teaching from two studios in Croydon and Wallington.
He has been active in the metal and extreme metal scene since 1996 playing with and releasing albums with bands such as Adorior, Throne of Nails, Spearhead and his current band Outer Dark Ascendant. He has
shared the clinic stage with Mark Mondesir, Craig Blundell and Mel Gaynor amongst many others. Mark is known for his double pedal playing and extensive knowledge of hand and foot technique.
Outside of metal, Mark has played in many genres including blues, jazz and hard rock, playing jazz with Ralph Lewars and heavy rock with Santi Rigolizio, Charlie Griffiths (Haken) and Pete Rinaldi (Natalie
Imbruglia)

Pedal Techniques: Heel Up, Heel Down, Heel Toe, Constant Release, Swivel Hand Technique: Moeller, Freestroke, Fingers, Open Close Advanced Coordination: Poly-metrics and Poly-rhythms. Beginner to Advanced theory: Sight Reading, Transcription. SPECIALIST STYLES: Metal, Progressive Rock, Fusion.
